The FES Watch U is the second generation of e-paper technology watches launched by Sony last December. Like the first FES, the Watch U isn’t a smartwatch, but rather a watch connected to an iOS app (Android available later), in which you’ll be able to changed the design of the watch face as well as the bracelet with a simple click of a button.
The FES Watch U comes in two models, the premium black steel with black detailing, and the silver case with white detailing. Both of these models come with a storage space for 24 different designs, all at your disposal. There’s no need to open the app to switch designs, just a simple click of a button on the watch itself and it will be changed automatically.
The FES Watch U premium black will cost around €600 and the white version will sit around €500. Just like it’s predecessor, the Watch U can only be found in Japan. Hopefully, Sony will have plans to launch this brilliant design globally sometime in 2017.
